Food Waste
FoodbinsIf you want a small food waste caddy for indoors or a larger one for outside please email the association or call round to 83 Glan Gors.

If you would like some of the bio degradable bags for food waste please let us know or call round to 83 Glan Gors as we have a supply.

These items would normally be supplied by the refuse collecters when they call to your property which is why we havent been given them. The council have agreed to supply them to the Association, some have already been issued by us.

Refuse Collection

We have been having problems with the refuse collection for the estate in recent months. We have been in discussions with the council to rectify the issue.

Gwynedd are switching to 3 weekly collections, we think the council now accept that during the Spring and Summer months this is not viable. We have had to really stand our ground but at the moment we appear to be getting weekly collections for general waste and 2 weekly collections for recycling.

As phase 3 bin area was short of bins we have had the number increased.

We really must use the bins correctly, if people continue to dump the contents of their properties into the bins, furniture, building waste then the council will simply refuse to empty the bins and we will have to pay a lot of money to sort the issue.

There is a Recycling Center a couple of miles down the road and you can book appointments online, or you could go on line and pay for items to be collected from your property.

You are responsible for your rubbish, you do not have the right to dump what want in the bins or bin area.
